“Don’t let what…

“Don’t let what you cannot do interefere with what you can’t do.”

It ‘s close enough to what John Wooden said. And, his statement has become my life’s guiding motto. Jesus had lots of stuff to say that is worth giving your life to but Mr. Wooden had already internalized Christ’s words and spit them out in a way I can put them into practice. Think of it as “chewn” cud. Wooden took a great concept, mulled it over, and gave it back out in a way anyone can understand. Is it possible the original fodder for this idea was Matthew 6:34? Don’t we all have enough to deal with today that investing energy into what may happen tomorrow robs us of energy for what we must do today?
